In the U.S., the summer season varies within each of the 50 states. For instance, Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Arizona are among the top four of the nation's hottest states. The average temperature hovers around 77.9 degrees Fahrenheit 7 months out of the year. However, the climate in each of these states is different. Arizona has more dry heat, whereas Florida is warm and humid with periodic invasions of cold air.

Climate is one of the most important considerations when it comes to what to wear in the scorching heat and dry days of summer. The best and universally accepted fabric for such weather is Cotton. Cotton absorbs the sweat from your body and allows it to evaporate into the air. It works like a towel, wicking the moisture away from your skin and discouraging the growth of bacteria and yeast. This makes it the perfect fabric for summer because it keeps you cool and prevents infections. You should avoid synthetic fabrics as much as possible because unlike Cotton and other natural fabrics, most synthetic fabrics do not breathe. So when you sweat, the sweat doesn't dry off as it should.

Lighter/ Naturally Dyed Colours

Colours like white, yellow, beige and other light shades keep you cool because they reflect most of the sun's rays into the atmosphere. Dark fabrics, on the other hand, tend to absorb these rays and trap their heat, making you feel even hotter.

Wear Easy fit/Relaxed  Clothes

In summer, avoid wearing tight clothes that restrict your circulation. Your blood vessels tend to dilate in summer so that your body can cool itself by letting heat escape through your skin, so make it a point to wear loose and airy clothes to allow your blood to circulate freely.

Relaxed fit

Clothes are mostly generously fitted, offering more natural movement than body-hugging garments. They are subtly on the loose side, sneakily hiding the extra inches on your problem areas.

Oversized fit

Oversized clothes are loosely fitted and roomier than usual. They do not add structure to your body as we detail them with drop-shoulders and big pockets. Even though the clothes are oversized, we recommend you to stay true to your size as they can appear quite unflattering when chosen the wrong size.

Wide leg pants

Wide-leg pants are calf-length pants having a drawstring closure at the waist. They are comfortably fitted on the hip and cut to fall straight from there. We recommend you to style them with long shirts and tunics.

Pleated Pants

Pleated pants have an elastic waistband and are tapered at the hem. They are smart casuals that are decently suitable for a formal occasion as well.

A-line dress

A-line dresses are relaxed-fitted on the shoulders and chest and gradually flares out until the hem. This style looks flattering on pear-shaped and hourglass-shaped bodies. An A-line dress, also known as triangle dress, is ideal for women of age 30+ years. Why? It is flowy which accentuates grace and poise, giving you the comfort you need for your everyday activities.

Asymmetrical Dress

An asymmetrical silhouettes usually has two sides of a different length. Our version of asymmetrical dresses/tunics is a high-low hemline, which can be styled with matching straight pants or worn as an added layer to your outfit. This dress is an excellent option when you aren't sure of the formality of the occasion; it is suitable for office wear, special events as well as travel/resort wear.

This dress is designed with versatility so it can be carried effortlessly at a formal meeting as well as your travel getaways. It is made in dynamic and earthy colour tones to suit your wearability. The layers are attached. However, you can ask us to make it in a detached form, so that the layers can also be worn separately.

Tunic dress

The tunic dress is a relax-fitted dress usually with slits on the side seams, ending near the knees or calves. Tunics can be worn with our variety of handwoven relax-fitted bottoms or a simple pair of jeans. It is a perfect choice for a casual gathering, festive occasions or getaways.
